Zinc Barrel Plating
Automotive approved and quality system certified, Globe Products' automated Jessup barrel zinc plating line is a highly productive, reliable, and consistent zinc plating process. With capability to custom plate to the desired zinc plating thickness, Globe Products thoroughly monitors the process to ensure that the zinc is evenly coated.
Zinc Plating with Chromate/Leach Seal
This sealing process offers the advantages of:
- Increased life of metal
- Increased corrosion resistance
- Improved aesthetics
- Meets ASTM B117-97/03, ASTM B571, and ASTM B 633 - - Class 8, Type II
Trivalent Chromate Coatings
Environmentally approved, trivalent chromate coatings provide for an economical protective coating with either a blue hue or clear appearance meeting automotive requirements. Trivalent chromate coatings are the preferred zinc chromate in the automotive business.
Laboratory Testing
CMI plating thickness checks are performed throughout the day. Chemical and pH measurements are rigorously monitored to ensure the plating and coating processes are rigidly controlled.
